In the single-player campaign, the gamer can control one of four Chosen. One of them is known from previous installment and he is named Caleb - the most balanced character who uses firearms and magical means with perfect efficiency. The player struggle against sinister corporation called Cabalco. Its commander named Gideon seeks a vengeance on main hero who humiliated the leader once.

The game offers thirty levels divided on 4 chapters. Next chapters are accessible only after completing all missions in previous ones. The story is filled with hatred and brutality, covered in dark atmosphere and fanned by assorted sounds and music.

The player has a set of various weapons to his disposal. Several kinds of enemies awaits the player at every corner. One can collect power-ups which grant unique abilities like invulnerability, stealth movement or increased firepower for a limited period of time. Taking all possible advantages over foes is a necessary procedure if the player wants to defeat his arch-enemy quickly.
The game also offers a multiplayer mode where even 32 players can participate in blood-thirsty combats.
